Happy 30th anniversary to the legendary Subaru Outback.

The first Outback was sold in September 1994 as a trim package for Legacy wagon. Six generations later, the “World’s First Sport Utility Wagon” has become an icon for adventure.

Subaru of America celebrated by showcasing the first-generation Outback next to the 2025 Outback for employees and visitors at our HQ lobby.

Shoutout to all the amazing engineers, product management teams, and technicians who have developed these designs our customers, and our families love so much.
